The Model 1000 is an Active solid-state lightning detection and protection system which functions to automatically disconnect/isolate and/or interrupt/shunt the protected equipment electrical I/Os for selectable periods of time upon the detection of lightning. Once the lightning danger has past, the system automatically restores all connections.
